Graham has been a Senior Lecturer for 8 years at Leeds Metropolitan University. During this period he has had a significant impact on the teaching of information systems development and development methodologies.
He has made a notable contribution to research, particularly in the area of Information Strategy Planning. His current research is concerned with the cultural and sociological aspects of the information strategy planning process and Business Process Redesign.
Throughout his term at Leeds Metropolitan University Graham has maintained links with industry by providing systems methods and techniques training and consultancy for a number of manufacturing organisations and, recently, information strategy planning consultancy to one of the UKs major construction companies.
Prior to joining the University Graham has spent many years as a systems professional in industry in such roles as computer programmer, systems analyst and finally as a consultant with James Martin Associates [now known as TI Information Engineering]. During this period he has worked on systems development and information strategy projects for major organisations such as
