Jesse Vincent

Before anyone had heard of MP3 or Real Audio, Jesse helped convince a major label to release one of the first "Internet-only" singles. Too Much Joy's 'Frustrated' debuted online in the fall of 1995. In the intervening years, Jesse has written OpenSource software which is in use throughout the industry. He spent a year at Microsoft working with the IETF to help make sure that instant messaging standards are free and open. After returning to the east coast, Jesse worked to build a cohesive team of world-class systems administrators and a scalable, fault tolerant network infrastructure for Into Networks' national launch of their PlayNow Software on Demand service. When he's not busy liberating works of art, Jesse likes to spend time reading, writing code and playing with his two ferrets.
