Manfred F. Romich

Manfred F. Romich (born in 1951) is head of CCIS - China Consulting and Information Services - and lecturer in sociology of China at the Institute of Sociology, department of comparative sociology, Aachen University ofTechnology (RWTH). He concurrently works as research co-ordinator and chairman of the China Research Group at RWTH and chairman of the International Center for Comparative Social-Economic Development Studies.He is also a member of the board of directors and of the Executive Committee of the North-South Study Group ofAachen University of Technology.

Romich is now working about "Problems of Re-Integrating Chinese Students from abroad", a joint research project with Tongji University, Shanghai.
