Volkmar Lotz

Volkmar Lotz has received his diploma in computer science from University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, in 1988. In 1989, he joined Siemens Corporate Technology, first working in the formal methods group, then in the security technologies group. His current focus is on formal security models, cryptographic protocol verification, security for mobüe agent systems, and evaluation and certification of secure systems. He is responsible for Siemens' activities in the MAP - Multimedia Workplace for the Future - project and manages the MAP subproject "Security Technologies".
